All my favourite songs tend to be pretty vague, I like not knowing fully what a song is about, you get the basic feeling it’s conveying but then it allows you to kind of fill it with your own meaning. So I tried to do that with this song, the lyrics are purposefully vague but I wanted the song to kind of capture the general feeling you get when you know you have to leave something behind, but maybe don’t want to.
